Building VT: Mini-Update 1

I built a few lots today but not enough for a full update so I figured I'd show you this picture of the kindergarten I built in Ville de Bénéfice. I'm pretty proud of the way I did the roof, trying some tricks with stages and making the roof nearly flat. I really hope to be finished with Ville de Bénéfice tomorrow because having to set up 47 households and making profiles and everything should take me a whole lot of time and I miss playing so much!

  1. Wow, 47 households! Yes, I imagine that would take you quite a while. I'd be anxious to start playing too.

So, your kindergarten: is that for toddlers, or for your very youngest children?

  2. Carla, I want to play so badly! When I started Verre Tranquille, when building was slow and I mostly just planned things and wrote sim profiles and rules (In may) I would still play some other sims in another neighborhood but right now I just want to finish building and play those sims who's entire history I planned in the past 4 months!

My kindergarten is for my 4-5 year olds (Children), my elementary is for 6-11 year olds and my high school is for 12-17 year olds. So far I have 2 sims in one kindergarten and I didn't count how many in the other. I like them small though because my kindergarten teachers are the 20 something year olds who just graduated college and won't be able to handle too many.

  3. Just do a little at a time. For example, I haven't gotten all of my profiles up yet. I've been just putting them up whenever I happen to post their household update. I started in Jan and I still haven't put up all profiles or finished building yet. I still have much of Rockport (my downtown) to do plus the colleges.

  4. LaurelCrossing, I would have done that but I'm so close to the end that I want it to be complete by the time I start playing. For the profiles I might set them up like that but I'd like to at least finish building and have all the sims set in their houses.
